Entry to the Honours is via the internet only.  In order to make an entry to the Honours you need to register or login if you are already registered.   The cost of each entry is £95.00 exc. VAT (non refundable).  Payment methods will be detailed when you file an entry.

HONOURS PROCESS OVERVIEW

  • Entries will be submitted online using the form provided and by uploading supplementary supporting material or documentary evidence
  • Entries will be shortlisted by the judging panel using the initial form on the website and without recourse to the supplementary information (where Sponsors have also agreed to be Judges, they will be excluded from judging any category where they have submitted an entry)
  • The judges will select the Honours and Highly Commended recipients from the shortlist with the help of supplementary information uploaded by the entrant
  • Entrants will be advised of their nomination for an Honour and invited to attend the Honours event
  • The Honours and Highly Commended recipients in each category will be announced at the Honours event

EXCLUSIVELY FOODSERVICE

The Honours are exclusively for businesses operating in any area of foodservice.

HEALTH, VITALITY AND WELLBEING IN FOODSERVICE

Health, Vitality and Wellbeing is an integral part of the Social pillars within CSER and sustainable development; the way we look after the health and wellbeing of the people within our constituency. In foodservice this represents the diners, customers and staff in our individual sector of operation, public, private or workplace.

This is the basis for creating the award categories and assessing the entries.

ASSESSMENT OVERVIEW

Following factors will be taken into account:

  • The quality of your entry
  • The degree of innovation and originality shown
  • Evidence of measurable impact of the Health, Vitality & Wellbeing benefits to a community, the economy, and social aspects
  • How what's been achieved is promoted so that best practice can be adopted by others
  • Involvement by relevant stakeholders in the actions you have taken
  • Continuous improvement to existing programmes
  • Replicability – can this activity be copied by others for the general benefit of the foodservice community?
  • Compliance: with regulations or recognised accreditation schemes

ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be commercially active in foodservice
  • Your entry must be foodservice related
  • Your entry must be related to the enhancement of the health, vitality and wellbeing of the target community or audience
  • The focus of the entry should be on UK Foodservice
  • Entrants must adhere to published timelines and formats for entries which may change from time to time
  • Entrants must not have any outstanding legal proceedings against them that relate to the entries submitted
